The Wright Search
The Wright Search is a database where students and alumni
- post résumés for employers to review, and then respond to employer contact
- review job postings placed online by employers, and initiate contact
- review on-campus interview opportunities and manage on-campus interviewing schedules.
How Students Can Participate
Students and alumni can review the required orientation online. Participation in The Wright Search is free to Wright State students and alumni, but résumés must be uploaded every thirty days for records to remain active.
Help Improve Employer Perceptions of your Academic Department
Employers reviewing student candidates on The Wright Search pay attention to the number and quality of participating students in each discipline. Help your department stand out by recommending The Wright Search to all your students, and by advising them to contact Career Services for a résumé and job search advising. It is recommended that students request a résumé review prior to posting the document on The Wright Search.
Recommend Frequent Activity to Students
New job openings are posted daily on The Wright Search, for student employment, co-ops, internships, and career positions. Employers begin their search in September for June and August graduates. The best time to refer students to Career Services is any time.
