Individual Advising

Has a student approached you with questions like 'What can I do with my degree?' or 'What kind of salary can I expect when I graduate?' While you expect field-related questions, you may be surprised by the anxious student who discloses, 'I have no idea what I want to do - please help me.'

Experienced Career Services professionals assist with all questions regarding career exploration or job search issues. Certified professionals sometimes administer assessment tools to advance a student's self-understanding.

After evaluating a student's needs, the Career Services adviser makes referrals to appropriate resources and lays out a plan for further development.

Some students simply want a résumé review, or help with a cover letter. Please send them our way!   Any student or alumni with a question or problem related to career exploration or job search can make an appointment by calling 937.775.2556.

The front desk can schedule an appointment; there is no need to speak to an adviser. Students and alumni contacting from a geographical distance may email career_services@wright.edu.
